AS it nears midnight on New Years Eve for a large chunk of our readership, we’d like to thank you for supporting us in 2025.

3. Revealed: Metric system prevented Yngwie Malmsteen joining KISS

THE story goes that KISS wanted to know how tall the Swedish shredder was. He only knew metres, not feet. And that didn’t sound too tall to the Americans. Strange but true.

2, Stevie Nicks once gave Richie Kotzen a tour of her house … “the tour ended in her bedroom”

THIS one came from our own interview, which makes it more satisfying. When guitar whiz Richie was young and new to Hollywood, the Fleetwood Mac chanteuse took a shine to him…

  1. A new Van Halen album is in the works

ALEX Van Halen told a Dutch newspaper guitarist Steve Lukather was helping him sift through the archives with a view to possibly releasing something. Luthaker quickly added he would not play on anything that might be released.
