QUEENS Of The Stone Age have managed to do something truly newsworthy in an age of competing viral gimmicks: they’ve set up a complaints hotline.
The band said they are “here to listen” to any general “bitching” or “whining” fans want to get off their chest.The service, which began on Wednesday, is described as a place where “fans, friends, and foes” can call to “air their gripes and grievances, moans and groans, chagrin’, carpin’ and any judgments they wish to pass.”
Frontman Josh Homme stated the platform is open for any complaints and that they would not find any “bitching too big” or any “whiny too tiny.”
“Sometimes people just need to complain, and Queens of the Stone Age are here to listen,” the announcement added.
Each grievance shared on the hotline would be “reviewed personally” and allow callers to talk with “a live ear at the other end of the line.”
It has not been confirmed whether a band member will take calls at times. The number is +1 (760) 437-1966.
The helpline follows the release of the band’s new single ‘Easy Street’, their first since the 2023 album In Times New Roman…
The group is currently opening for Foo Fighters on the North American leg of the ‘Take Cover’ stadium tour and is due to play its first show in Iceland since 2005 in October.
Earlier this year, former bassist Nick Oliveri joined QOTSA on stage.
