BON Jovi continue to add dates to their comeback tour as their singer promises he’ll be “back where I belong” in Australia.
Jon Bon Jovi’s scheduled comeback to the live circuit after throat surgery is taking on epic proportions with nine nights in the books for Madison Square Garden next July and a second date at Wembley Stadium in September.
And when JBJ was interviewed by Channel Seven at Wembley as he crossed paths with the Australian rugby league team, he said: “I have to come Down Under where I belong”.
Inside, he posed for photos with Kevin Walters’ side and then answered the question about an Antipodean visit again, saying: “We’ll get this out of the way first and then I’ll be down in Australia”.
Bon Jovi last toured Australian in 2018; the last week released a new version of their Forever album with guest appearances by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne.
JBJ has told several interviewers during a demanding press schedule that the upcoming dates are not a farewell tour.
