TAYLOR Swift fans are calling it karma.
First, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett wore a t-shirt during a Budapest show that read “Taylor Swift is a CIA Psyp”. Then, a few days later in Dublin, he fell off stage.
Of course it’s a karma, right? Must be..
On June 13 at Puskás Aréna in Budapest, the 63-year-old axeman earned the ire of Swifties with his style choice. Reports suggested the creator of the t-shirt, one Chris Musina, was intending to poke fun at conspiracy theorists.
The chart-topper’s fans didn’t see it that way – Reddit was the main place Swifties expressed their anger. Hammett did not respond.
But he did amplify photos of his slipping over and being helped back on stage in Dublin, labeling the incident “Slip and destroy”. Metallica’s European jaunt continues and HM will be catching them in London on July 3.
The legendary Bay Area thrash pioneers were recently described by former bassist Jason Newsted as a garage duo with occasional embellishments.
