THE System Of A Down/Faith No More stadium mega-bill has sold out in Brisbane and Melbourne.
Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on January 27 and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on February 1 have already posted the ‘House Full’ sign despite ticket prices causing alarm among some fans.
They had only been on sale for about a week when tickets were completely snapped up.
There are still seats for Accor Stadium in January 22 and Wellington’s Hnry Stadium on February 7 – the first and last shows of the run.
A media release from the promoters reads: “With Melbourne and Brisbane now completely sold out, Sydney stands as the only remaining opportunity for Australian fans to experience this once-in-a-generation stadium pairing.”
That does not bode well for those hoping for shows to be added.
With the secondary market fore tickets far more tightly regulated in Australia and New Zealand than in most other countries, the best way to register for any new ticket releases in Brisbane or Melbourne is HERE.
System of a Down have not been to Australia since 2012, FNM since 2015.
