NU METAL poster boys Limp Bizkit will headline the Good Things festival in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December, it has been announced.
Tickets are on sale next Thursday for the travelling extravaganza which will also feature Simple Plan, Spiritbox, Polaris, The All-American Rejects, Bad Religion and Grinspoon.
Millencolin will perform Pennybridge Pioneers in full, Ministry will play their final Australian shows, Alexisonfire recite their album Crisis in totality and Oz rock legends Choirboys will turn back the clock and sub-genres.
Bad Religion come to Oz to celebrate their 45th anniversary, even though it’s their 46th.
In June, Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland said: “We’re the biggest we’ve ever been right now.
“It’s crazy. And I’m not saying that in a cocky way. I’m saying that, like, we can’t believe it.
“It’s just been — we’re so lucky. I don’t know exactly how it happened, but I think people… We just get along so well now and everybody …
“We’re adults and we’re still having fun doing it and I think that translates to the audience.”
This is the seventh instalment of Good Things. Limp Bizkit last headlined in 2023.
When the Jacksonville band played Sydney Big Day Out in 2001, 16-year-old Jessica Michalik died as a result of injuries sustained during their performance.
