WHEN it comes to AI, we are all but babes in the woods right now.
Whether artificial intelligence is the big bad wolf intent on eating us or the mother wolf that will let us suckle her teat so we grow big and strong, we don’t know yet.
Maybe it’s the woods; maybe it’s a jungle but one this is for sure: music will change forever.
Likely, we’ll realise at some point that a tune generated by a machine can move us every bit as much as one created by a human – and we’ll have to reassess the nature of emotion and even love as a result.
But anyway … Guns N’Roses have performed Velvet Revolver’s ‘Slither’ 123 times since 2018. But what about ‘Fall To Peaces’? What would that sound like?
