WE don’t know if it’s permanent but guitarist Brett Tyrrell has joined Airbourne.
The Black Aces axeman was photographed for the band’s official channels playing a show in Tilburg, Netherlands, this week in place of Jarrad Morrice.
It was only last year Tyrrell replaced Morrice in Black Aces.
An AC/DC fan group on Facebook congratulated Tyrrell for joining Airbourne and the post was shared by Tyrrell’s proud father John.
But as was the case when Morrice joined, it’s been radio silence in terms of official announcements and we don’t know where he is or whether Tyrrell is becoming a permanent member of the band.
Also on Brett’s resume is Sydney’s Release The Hounds, who released one album, and AC/DC tribute act Thunderstruck.
Our picture shows Brett in the front row at an Airbourne show at Bar On The Hill in Newcastle in June 2011.
