BEING a member of LA Guns can hardly be described as a rare honour, with Wikipedia listing 38 individuals to have held a position in the band – but that doesn’t include rival versions of the group.
And now drummer Shawn Duncan, formerly of Odin, DC4 and BulletBoys joins a list that includes Axl Rose, Chris Holmes, Jizzy Pearl and Michael Starr.
“Honored to be a part of the @laguns family! Looking forward to the #sonicslamtour and hope to see some of you there!” Duncan said on Instagram after his recruitment was announced by Tracii Guns.
Duncan replaces Scot Coogan, whose departure was not explained in official band dispatches, who in turn replaced Shane Fitzgibbon. Duncan is LA Guns’ 12th drummer according to Wikipedia.
LA Guns are about to tour the US with Tom Keifer and Faster Pussycat.
