PROUD Aussie bogan rockers The Chats are back with new music.

Five years since Get Fucked and the lads have toured the world relentlessly including a turn at Coachella earlier this year.

Recorded in LA with Frenzal Rhomb’s Jay Whalley, the latest effort Half Cut promises to be “a little more open than stuff we’ve written in the past”, according to vocalist Eamon Sandwith. While not necessarily “‘mature,’” he continues, “but it’s a bit of a progression, I’d say.”

Both of the band’s previous albums charted in the ARIA Top 5 – High Risk Behaviour climbed to #5 and Get Fucked hit #2.

The first taste of Half Cut is latest single “Off It”, which you can check out below. Their 17-date national tour kicks off in Brisbane on November 17 at the Crowbar.
