First Round of Acts Named for 70,000 Tons

THE world’s biggest metal cruise has revealed the first 19 acts to be making the trip in 2027.

70,000 Tons of Metal will sail from Miami to the Dominican Republic and return between January 14 and 18, and the line-up is beginning to take shape.

German guitar innovator Uli Jon Roth will be performing two sets celebrating his time with Scorpions, performing songs from Virgin Killer and In Trance.  Italian power metallers Rhapsody will also feature, with Luca Turilli and Fabio Leone together again for the only show outside of Latin America on their final tour.

Other bands so far announced include Warbringer, Obscura, Aether Realm, Arch Enemy, Enforced, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Brainstorm, Evergrey, Equilibrium, Melechesh, Moonspell, Primal Fear, Abigail Williams, Sinister, Mors Principum Est, Battlelore and Thucandra.

70,000 is limited to 3000 tickets, with further information and updates available via the cruise website.
