ONE of the country’s most prominent all-female bands during the nineties and very early aughts, Nitocris toured relentlessly, appeared on the summer festival circuit consistently and issused a string of strong selling releases.
They split up amicably in 2001 to explore other projects and avenues with most of them continuing to perform in a dozen or so bands since.
Nitocris will reform for a reunion show on October 3, at Sydney’s Marrickville Bowlo, to mark the 25th anniversary of their departure from the scene. Tickets are now on sale, including merch packages, from this link.
