BON Jovi have announced details of their 16th studio album Forever and released the first single, entitled “Legendary”.
The eighties hairband-come-cultural phenomenon is celebrating its 40th anniversary and will release the 12-track album via EMI on June 7. The album is available for pre-order in various formats, included limited edition ‘ocean wave vinyl’.
It’s an announcement that seems to put paid to speculation surrounding original guitarist Richie Sambora returning to Bon Jovi. The line-up for Forever is Jon Bon Jovi (vocals), Tico Torres (drums), David Bryan (keys), Hugh McDonald (bass) and Phil X (lead guitar).
In a statement, Jon Bon Jovi said: “This record is a return to joy. From the writing, through the recording process, this is turn-up-the-volume, feel-good Bon Jovi.“
