SWEDISH guitar legend Yngwie J. Malmsteen will return for an Australian tour for the first time in nine years.

Malmsteen, who redefined rock and metal guitar playing in the eighties with his classically-trained and inspired, Blackmore-influenced shred, will do three shows in Australia on May 16, 18 and 19 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of his solo debut. Tickets including VIP packages are available from April 2.
