WITH Aerosmith announcing new music in the preceding 24 hours, there was no better time for vocalist Steven Tyler to join his band-mate Joe Perry on stage.

And if it’s in LA, there’s a fair chance Slash will show up.

The ‘Smiffs are teaming up with British singer Yungblud for an EP and have already released a single, “My Only Angel” and with Joe Perry Project opening for The Who at Hollywood Bowl, it was time to fly the flag – and the microphone-adorning scarf.

Joe Perry Project is already an all-star band for the current tour, with The Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson on vocals, Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford on rhythm guitar and Stone Temple Pilots’ Rober Deleo on bass.

Tyler came on stage for “Train Kept A Rollin'” and “Walk This Way” while Slash guested on “Mama Kin”.
