AOR megastars Foreigner have launched a US$999 VIP package that places buyers on stage during their concerts.
The program is called the Golden Anniversary VIP ticket, in honour of the band’s 50 years of recording and performing.
“The centrepiece of the experience allows guests to sit onstage during three songs, enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime perspective from alongside the band as they perform some of rock’s most iconic hits,” says a media release.
The release goes on to list the perks of the VIP ticket as:
* A meet-and-greet with the band and photo;
* Memorabilia including:
– A seven-inch vinyl featuring previously unreleased recordings;
– An autographed lyrics sheet;
– A bottle of the band’s own Backstage Bourbon;
* Early venue entry and concierge service;
* Premium seating;
* A keychain “that unlocks future fan opportunities and special experiences before they become available to the general public”
Foreigner are now fronted by Luis Carlos Maldonado following the departure of Kelly Hansen.
