ROSE Tattoo’s manager has explained the scheduling of dates beyond their ‘last show’ as Angry Anderson discusses their final album.

Hot Metal previously reported that although the Tatts were said to be playing their “last ever show” on New Years Eve somewhere in Australia, gigs at West Hollywood’s Whisky A GoGo had been announced for March 21 and 22.

“That’ll be the last for Australia,” the Tatts’ manager, Scot Crawford, commented on the venue’s Facebook page, in reference to that mysterious New Years Eve show.

“We will sneak in US and N.Z in 2027.”

Meanwhile, Anderson says there are so many songs competing for inclusion on an upcoming Tatts album that the single “Hard Road”, released in January 2025, might miss the cut.

“The track was never meant to be a single at all,” he told PodRaznoKast.

“It came out of rehearsals and was pushed out because it sounded better than anyone expected.

“When we first did it, it turned out so good that our manager, he said that we’ll put it out as a promotional tool.

“Because we had a big year, which was last year. We had a big year of gigs coming up, so we released it.

“But it was so popular at home and it’s pretty popular [in Europe], too.

“We have so many new songs, it might be hard to get it on the album. So maybe not. Maybe not.”

Rose Tattoo are currently in Belgium and move onto Germany tomorrow. It’s their final visit to Europe.
