“MEDICAL” reasons have been offered as Scorpions have cancelled all remaining dates this year.
The German giants had an extensive residency booked in Las Vegas for the duration of September as well as Mexican dates in the books but the’ve all been crossed out.
“We regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, our upcoming September shows in Mexico and Las Vegas will need to be postponed,” the band said on social media.
“We are extremely disappointed but look forward to returning in 2027 along with a number of European shows with details to be announced soon.
“We cannot wait to rock with you all again! To those who have purchased tickets, all tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for those who cannot attend the rescheduled shows.”
While the band gave no reasons for the decision, there was a more than a clue in a subsequent post by American singer-songwriter Adam Bomb.
He wrote: “My heart goes out to Klaus (Meine) and the Scorpions for having to cancel their remaining tour dates for 2026.
“It was my great honor to be the final support act to open for them in 2026 and I’m eternally grateful that they took me under their sting.
“My heart also goes out to the fans that bought tickets, hotel rooms, flights and vacation plans tied to their Vegas residency. I know the stage techs and the band members were really looking forward to going Mexico.
“I knew this information about a week ago. It was formally announced today. It’s not my place to say why, but it is medical.
“On behalf of my band, Pip and myself, we send you all the love and healing powers we have to give.”
