Bush, You Am I and The Superjesus to play Melbourne event

AFL FOOTBALL is getting a bit of global exposure right now with the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne and attending a game – but from a rock point of view, the biggest link-up is still a few weeks away.

Triple M Fest is held at the Corner Hotel in Richmond on grand final eve and this year it will feature Bush, You Am I and The SuperJesus.

The station will broadcast from the venue from early in the morning with Adelaide’s The Superjesus performing during the breakfast show. AFL-linked programming takes over in the afternoon.

And during the drive slot, You Am I’s performance will be broadcast on Triple M. Tickets are available via on-air contests.

Station content director Jay Mueller was quoted in a statement as saying: “Triple M Fest is exactly what grand final week in Melbourne should sound like – great footy chat, live music, and the biggest personalities coming together in one place.
