AIRBOURNE will release a seventh studio album next year, singer and guitarist Joel O’Keeffe has told fans in a New Years message.

The wild men of Warrnambool released a rare independent record in 2004 before issuing five major label albums, the most recent 2019’s Boneshaker.

Apparently filming himself in the shower after visiting Melbourne’s Cherry Bar, 38-year-old O’Keeffe said: “Happy 2024.

“We’ll see you on the road with a new record – all over the world! Rock on!”

The new album will be the first to feature new rhythm guitarist Brett Tyrrell.
