GUNS N’Roses WILL record a full album of completely new material, Slash has vowed.
Recent singles “Atlas” and “Nothin” are the last of the leftover songs from the Chinese Democracy era and in a recent appearance on the Loudwire Nights syndicated radio show, the iconic guitarist revealed the band’s plans to turn over a new leaf.
“We’re obviously going toward making a whole new record of original stuff,” Slash told the program.
“It’s not something we really discuss too much, but we have a ton of material and so we have to go in and sort of hone in on that and see what’s going to happen.
“It’s one of those things, once it takes off, it’ll take off pretty fast.”
The most difficult aspect of such a project, he said, was “deciphering everything that we have and figuring out what is going to go on a record and blah, blah, blah.”
