AUSTRALIAN audiences will get a double dose of darkness and death early next year when two giants of metal extremity combine forces.

Death legacy act Death to All and California thrash pioneers Dark Angel are touring together in the last week of January, culminating with an appearance at Adelaide’s Froth and Fury Festival on the 30th.

Featuring three former members of one of metal’s most influential acts, Death to All collects drummer Gene Hoglan, bassist Steve DiGiorgio and guitarist Bobby Koelble along with Max Phelps of Cynic to pay tribute to Death with a massive set spanning the band’s entire catalogue.

The tour will be a double dose of Hoglan as he takes the stool behind the kit with Dark Angel, making their second appearance in Australia and first since the release of latest album Extinction Level Event.

Tickets for all shows except Adelaide go on sale from Thursday.
