DREAM Theater’s original vocalist Charlie Dominici has died, it was reported late last week.

Both recently-reinstated drummer Mike Portnoy and the band itself released statements regarding the 72-year-old singer’s death.

Dominici joined the band when they were still called Majesty and recorded with them on their debut album When Dream and Day Unite. He later went on to a solo career that left behind three albums.
