Dean Engert of the Melbourne metal bands Dezakrate and The Day Everything Became Nothing, has died. Tributes flowed on Facebook for the musician from former bandmate Andrew Lean and broadcaster Andrew Haug, among others.
Dean Engert played guitar for Melbourne thrash/death band Dezakrate between 1996 and 2001; after that band split he joined the goregrind band The Day Everything Became Nothing. He passed away suddenly on March 19 of unknown causes at the age of 43.
