A WOMAN has been paralysed at the Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky after a fellow fan fell on her from a tree.
Jamie Ulshoffer was standing with her husband during Knocked Loose’s set at the four day event, held at the Highland Festival Grounds, when the incident happened.
She is paralysed from the waist down and an GoFundMe campaign has been launched – you can find it HERE. The band Knocked Loose has donated $8000 to Ulshoffer.
Her husband Conor told WHAS11: “We were actually at the backside of the tent and there’s four trees in the back… We were on the back right corner.
“I turn around and see her on her back… Then everyone said some dude fell out of a tree.”
Jamie had previously been injured in a car accident and the new incident severed her spine completely. Nevertheless, she told another outlet: “He shouldn’t have been up there. Definitely after it just rained, too. Stupid decision. You did this, but I’ll forgive.”
Ulshoffer’s niece, Cheyenne, launched the fundraiser.
Knocked Loose were supposed to be in Australia last December but cancelled due to a family emergency.
