HOT Metal’s favourite WA rockers, Southern River Band, will release their brand new album Easier Said Than Done in October.

Back from a blitzing festival regime throughout Europe, the band has presaged the album with opening single “No Such Time”, written for them by Powderfinger’s Bernard Fanning.

“It’s not every day you get a message from Bernard Fanning saying ‘G’day boys, got a song for ya’, but we were lucky enough to have that day,” says vocalist Cal Kramer.

“We SRB’d it good and proper and we’re absolutely stoked with how it’s turned out (so is he, thank fuck!) and hope you dig it as much as we do!”

To celebrate, the lads will be doing a round of touring from mid-October.
