HERE we go with another of our regular touring round ups. First up this time is the ridiculously long overdue tour by US doom lords PENTAGRAM, who will be making their way here for the first – and possibly last – time ever in August. Tickets are already selling strongly for this one, so get over to Hardline Media before it’s too late.

AUGUST 6 – The Baso, Canberra
AUGUST 7 – Crowbar, Brisbane
AUGUST 8 – Manning Bar, Sydney
AUGUST 9 – Croxton, Melbourne
AUGUST 10 – Lion Arts Factory, Adelaide
AUGUST 12 – Amplifier, Perth

September will see the return to our shores of technical prog instrumentalists ANIMALS AS LEADERS as they present their groundbreaking 2014 album The Joy of Motion in full. Joining them on the tour will be NY’s unclassifiable CAR BOMB. Pre-sales begin April 15 from Destroy All Lines.

SEPTEMBER 12 – Hindley St Music Hall, Adelaide
SEPTEMBER 14 – The Tivoli, Brisbane
SEPTEMBER 18 – The Forum, Melbourne
SEPTEMBER 19 – Enmore Theatre, Sydney

The ninth month will also see US punk godfathers DEAD KENNEDYS back in Australia. With original members Klaus Flouride and East Bay Ray joined by long-time vocalist Skip Greer and new drummer Steve Wilson, the band will be here for five shows with tickets on sale now.

SEPTEMBER 19 – Northcote Theatre, Melbourne
SEPTEMBER 20 – The Tivoli, Brisbane
SEPTEMBER 24 – Astor Theate, Perth
SEPTEMBER 26 – The Gov, Adelaide
SEPTEMBER 27 – The Metro, Sydney

On the more extreme end of things, British slam groovers INGESTED will be back after a barnstroming run in 2023, with three shows capped off by a headliner at Brisbane’s Cold Day Festival in July. Tix from Oztix and Moshtix from April 17.
