SVALBARD, the Bristol post-hardcore darlings with four albums to their name, have decided to split up. Singer and guitarist Serena Cherry has said the decision was amicable, and came as a result of the band not wanting to stagnate creatively.
“After much reflection, we have decided that 2026 will be the final year of Svalbard,” they wrote. A final UK tour has been booked for November. Japan and European shows will follow.
