JON Bon Jovi has declared the vocal chord surgery he underwent four years ago a complete success.

Ahead of his band’s stadium and arena shows on both sides of the Atlantic from July, the hair metal icon has claimed in and interview with People that he is completely healed and up to the task of rockin’ a million faces once more.

“I’m fully recovered,” he was quoted as saying. “It was longer than I’d ever expected, but it had to be right. We never lost faith.”

Discussing his bandmates, JBJ said: “They never doubted and never looked for work or decided to retire.

“The sacrifices that each one of them have made to be there for me is on a whole ‘nother level. They said, ‘No, we’re with you.’ Every day of every rehearsal they were there with me. My love for them has only deepened.”

Earlier this year, Trixter singer Steve Brown reached out via Hot Metal offering to help his long-time friend from New Jersey as he expressed concern about Bon Jovi’s voice in early performances ahead of this year’s comeback.

“He’s got a long way to go,” said Brown at the time.

The first Madison Square Garden show for Bon Jovi is July 7. The band has launched a contest for fans to film themselves singing “Livin’ On A Prayer” with the winning entries to feature on the big screen at the upcoming shows.
