DARK thrashers Harlott have announced the release of their latest album with first single, “Trial by Liar”.
The Melbourne four piece celebrate twenty years in 2026, with Exsequiis their third album for Metal Blade, and fifth overall.
Harlott, for whom themes of societal collapse and social injustice have been a constant, describe the new track as a statement on the deliberate spread of misinformation.
“Truth doesn’t appear to matter anymore and there aren’t any consequences for anything,” the band states. “There is a war on information raging and we yearn for the day when judgement is met on these perpetrators.”
Exsequiis will be released on September 11. Pre-orders are now available.
