Hair metal furore: Ted Poley’s withering attack on Sebastian Bach

IT’S probably the biggest controversy to ever come out of the Monsters Of Rock Cruise: former Danger Danger singer Ted Poley labelling ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach a washed-up, immature, drunken douchebag asshole monster.

And now everyone whose anyone in the world of eighties spandex has come out of the woodwork to express their views, even as 64-year-old Poley quickly took down his post.

Poley posted: “I would just like to clear something up for all of the people who think that Sebastian Bach is a total fucking asshole. You are completely wrong!

“He’s so much worse than that. What a piece of shit this guy is. I watched him start fights. I watched him be a douchebag. And I simply said hello to him and he almost kicked the shit out of me. He was such a nasty piece of shit. He’s a fucking washed up drunk. He embarrassed his family.

“I felt bad for his kids and his wife who watched their father and husband make a complete douche bag of himself at the VIP party and I’ve lost all respect for him and Sebastian – if you’re reading this- fuck you!

“You don’t deserve what you got you don’t appreciate what you got and I respected you right up until I met you.

“Ted Poley here brother come find me if you think you’re tough.

“I wouldn’t treat my enemies the way I saw you treat a room full of people more talented than you.

“Literally an immature, crybaby monster.

“There you go love it or hate it if you don’t wanna hear it, unfriend me, I have thousands of people waiting to take your place and then enjoy your experience with the biggest asshole I’ve ever met.”

Poley later apologised for the post, saying his pet cat had died while he was in the Caribbean – but the genie was well and truly out of the bottle by then. Tuff frontman Stevie Rachelle said he, too, was abused by Bach – as was his girlfriend.

Stryper vocalist Michael Sweet said: “It’s always a bummer to see friends and peers in the music world posting harsh things about one another online. I’ve been a part of it myself from time to time but the truth is, it never leads to anything positive or constructive.

“It’s always best to talk in person, to work out your differences in private. We’re all in this together and life is so short. Someday we’ll all be old, retired and we won’t be able to do what we’re born to do, what we love to do: music.
