SLASH was already listed but Guns N’Roses have joined the upcoming Aerosmith and friends shows.
The two concerts, billed as California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends, are set for the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 29 and November 1.
Aerosmith said in a statement: “Aerosmith & Friends just got a little louder. Excited to share that our special friends, Guns N’ Roses, will be joining us for these iconic nights at the Bowl!”
The addition unites two of rock’s most influential bands for Aerosmith’s return to the stage, their first full performances under the band name since retiring from touring in 2024.
Confirmed guests already include The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Eric Church, Sammy Hagar, Tom Morello, Jerry Cantrell, Chad Smith, Marcus King, Nuno Bettencourt, Sully Erna and others.
Don Was will serve as music director, with further artists, special guests and surprise appearances still to be announced.
The line-up will vary by night, and final nightly line-ups will be confirmed at or near showtime and remain subject to change.
Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith share a long history dating back to 1988, when the former opened for the latter on the Permanent Vacation Tour.
Artist pre-sales begin on October 9, with general tickets going on sale on October 10 at 10am Pacific time via Aerosmith.com.
Promoters note that the shows will celebrate Aerosmith’s catalogue, spanning classics across the band’s career.
