VOCALIST Vince Neil and guitarist John 5 have revealed the one song they wish was still in the live set of glam metal pioneers Motley Crue.
Neil was on air in Florida when the axe slinger called in recently, the pair offering their thoughts on the number they miss playing the most.
“Is there any song that we don’t play that you would want to play live,?” 5 said on Siriux XM radio when asked if he had a question for his band-mate. “Anything we’re not playing live … what would you want to play?”
Neil answered: “I always liked the song ‘Red Hot’.”
John 5 responded enthusiastically: “Me too!”
Neil continued: “We haven’t done it. We used to do it. I’m sure John you know it, you know the song.”
John 5: “I know it, oh yeah!”
Neil: “So we could start rehearsing it right before the show and he’d get it and it’s a great song.”
The guitarist said he’d like to perform “anything off Too Fast For Love or Shout At The Devil or Theatre Of Pain or Girls Girls Girls or Dr Feelgood ... any of those, I’d love to do.”
“Red Hot” was the seventh song on 1983 Motley Crue release Shout At The Devil. Motley’s next scheduled tour date is May 3 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
