ALL four members of Venezuelan rock band Van Der Dijs have been killed in the aftermath of the earthquakes that struck the country on June 24.

The alterna-rap metal quartet was rehearsing in the Costamar II building in Tanaguarena when it was levelled by the quakes that registered magnitudes of more than 7.2.

Rescue teams later recovered the bodies of band members Manuel Van Der Dijs, Gabriel Gomez, Xander Hernandez and Abraham Foucault.

Van Der Dijs had played a sold out show in Caracas the previous week and were due to play further shows around the country.
