THERE’VE been rumours of an Aerosmith announcement for a little while now – unfortunately for their fans it’s come and there’s no show involved.

Instead the band’s 1973 debut album is receiving an extensive makeover: remastered from the original tapes, remixed by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry and expanded to three CDs including a live show and bonus tracks from the same period.

‘Smiffs nuts will have their choice of three CDs, five LPs, one LP in two different formats, one-CD and digital. In each case there’ll be a 12-page booklet with liner notes and new artwork.

The concert is from Paul’s Mall in Boston, recorded on March 20 1972. It’s surprising there is any unreleased Aerosmith still around, particularly after 1991’s Pandora’s Box, but here’s the track listing from Aerosmith: Legendary Edition.
