Parkway Drive to Revisit Early Albums on August Tour

IT’S been a rough year for Parkway Drive.

2026 started out with the cancellation of their planned regional touring festival, then their questionable inclusion on this year’s Bluesfest bill came to nothing when that event collapsed two weeks before opening.

Since then, the band has been embroiled in controversy as former merch guy – and drummer Ben Gordon’s brother – Jed Gordon pled guilty to sexual intercoure with a minor. Then, an ABC investigation highlighted the murky history of bassist Jai O’Connor’s teenage rapper days, complete with violently misogynistic lyrics that he was compelled to apologise for.

While not a great way to kick off the 20th anniversary of the worldwide release of their debut album, Killing With a Smile, Parkway Drive is bouncing back with a celebratory national tour in August.

The two-week tour of mid-sized venues will feature the band appearing on back-to-back nights performing Killing With a Smile and the follow-up #6 ARIA Album Horizons in full, along with a selection of other hits. Tickets will go on sale at noon on June 25 for the shows.
