THE comeback tour of Canadian rockers Triumph is underway with the eagerly-anticipated first show taking place on Fridaynight in Orlando Florida.
Original members Gil Moore (drums, vocals). Mike Levine (bass) and Rik Emmett (guitar, vocals) were joined by younger musicians Phil X (guitar), Todd Kearns (bass) and Brent Fitz (drums) for a 14-song set.
The setlist went right back to their 1976 self-titled debut album. The tour, which marks the band’s 50th anniversary, runs through the June 6 at this stage. The next show is Sunday night – also at Hard Rock Live – and then the trek returns to Canada and Marie, Ontario, on April 22.
