IT’S the sort of pre-Christmas performance that can restore your faith in … just about everything.
Forget the KISS avatars, this is the real thing as Nick Simmons – 35-year-old son of Gene – and Evan Stanley – the 30-year-old son of Paul – perform Simon and Garfunkel’s 1964 classic “The Sound Of Silence”.
The pair are accompanied by nothing more than a guitar and it’s apparent the Demon and the Starchild’s have more to pass down genetically than spandex and greasepaint.
“He garfunkeled my simon till my hall got oates,” Simmons jnr said on Instagram.
Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick responded: “Amazing. Keep collaborating”.
The original song was added in 2012 to the National Recording Registry in the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically important”.
