THE Butterfly Effect’s debut album Begins Here turned the Queensland band from rising stars to one of the country’s biggest rock bands when it was released 20 years ago this week.Â
Two of the album’s single made the Triple J Hottest 100 in both 2003 and 2004 and Begins Here charted for over a year, finally attaining Gold status in early 2005. To celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary, The Butterfly Effect will be out on the road in February to play it in full. The guys are also appearing as one of the major acts at Adelaide’s Froth and Fury Fest in November.
