AUSSIE icons The Angels have released their first single with vocalist Nick Norton and announced their first studio album in a decade.
“Ninety-nine (Go For Broke)” features the the trademark Brewsters chainsaw guitar lines and is available on all streaming platforms now. The album will be called Ninety-nine and is due for a June 28 release.
Turning 50 this year like contemporaries Cold Chisel, The Angels are taking pre-orders for the album on their website HERE.
A vinyl pressing will also be made available.
“Ninety Nine is classic Angels, from the intriguing title right through to the cover artwork, which depicts Rick Brewster’s predilection for collecting old phone boxes,” The Angels said in a media release.
“Then there’s the songs, filled with mystery and menace and riffs that are a rallying cry to rock fans around the world.”
