WHILE their dads reunite with Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in Las Vegas, Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons have announced their debut recorded collaboration.
Stanley, son of Paul, and Simmons, son of Gene, have composed an album worth of material and will unleash the single “Body Down” on December 5. Stanley junior, 31, and Simmons junior, 36, have previously recorded live videos of themselves performing cover songs, which they have posted on social media.
In a statement they said was attributable to both of them, they said: “”A year ago Stanley Simmons wasn’t even the beginning of a thought in either of our heads. Now it’s pretty much all of them.
“We’re incredibly proud of the record we’re making and very stoked to share it with you all.”
Evan Stanley is also the frontman in Amber Wild, who opened for KISS in their final make-up shows at Maddison Square Garden two years ago. Nick has joined Australia’s Wolfmother on stage on occasion as well as performing with former KISS axeman Bruce Kulick.
This weekend is the KISS Kruise Landlocked event in Las Vegas featuring Simmons senior, Stanley senior, Thayer and Singer.
