RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy has bolstered his currently-touring solo band with the recruitment of Slaughter drummer Blas Elias.
Elias, 56, stepped out with Pearcy, 67, for the first time in a show at The Colony, Texas during the week and appears to have replaced Scot Coogan at the drum stool.
“Had a blast playing with Stephen Pearcy the voice of Ratt last night in Dallas!” Elias wrote on Instagram.
“What a great catalog of songs and Stephen and the guys are all super cool! I’ll be doing shows with him all a summer so come say hello!”
Elias still plays from time to time with Slaughter but did not tour Australia earlier this year with the Las Vegas-based outfit. He has also been involved in Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Sin City Sinners and Blue Man Group.
Pearcy’s solo band – currently tour to mark the 40th anniversary of Ratt’s Out Of The Cellar album – also includes bassist Matt Thor and guitarists Erik Ferentinos and Johnny Monaco.
