SINGER Olli Herman’s future in Scandinavian rockers Reckless Love is under a cloud after he joined a more established group from Finland.

Herman, 40, has been announced as the new singer in Popeda, replacing founding member Pate Mustajärvi. While it’s not unusual to be a member of more than one band these days, Reckless Love said “future plans” would be announced shortly.

An eighties hair metal-influenced band since its inception in 2001, Reckless Love took on a more electronic and modern style on their most recent album TurboRider.

Popeda have been around since 1977. Mustajarvi was the last remaining original member.
