FORMER AC/DC bassist Mark Evans has apparently received a reprieve from Rose Tattoo and will begin touring Europe and the UK with the band this week after all.
Hot Metal reported last week Evans had been told he would not be part of the Angry Anderson-fronted icons’ trek and “this decision – made known to me only recently – was not of my making”.
If going public with his disappointment was intended to salvage the tour for Evans, it has had the desired effect.
“Dear friends, very pleased to inform that l will be with Rose Tattoo on our coming tour of Europe and the UK as originally planned,” Evans wrote.
“Looking forward to seeing you all and being part of another massive Europe/UK Tatts Tour. TFFT (Tatts Forever, Forever Tatts).”
Evans gave no reason for the apparent change of heart by management.
The tour opens at the Küsters Hof Open Air in Germany on July 8.
