GUNS N’ROSES aggressively pursue anyone circulating their unreleased material – but superfans who stand outside stadia for soundcheck are not easily deterred.

The LA megastars apparently like to push the boat out when they warm up in front of an empty arena to stave off the boredom of playing “Mr Brownstone” and “November Rain for the millionth time.

And before a show in Tel Aviv at the start of the week, they pulled one of those unreleased songs: “Perhaps”.

Fans in the carpark, recognising that they did NOT recognise the song, reached for their mobile phones.

It’s a seventies-tinged rock ditty that doesn’t sound like it’s been on the backburner since the 1980s.

In fact it’s from the Chinese Democracy sessions and the original recording is believed to have featured Queen’s Brian May on guitar.
