WINGER’S performance at the Manning Bar in Sydney was shut down last night before the band could hit the stage when a fire emergency rendered the venue unsafe.
Disappointed fans were evacuated after NSW Fire and Rescue responded to a fire in the room below the venue. The resultant smoke and air quality put the entire building at risk, so the rest of the show had to be abandoned before Winger had played a note.
Silverback Touring is looking at a possible rescheduled date, so fans are advised to hold on to their tickets for now.

Weβre absolutely gutted to let you know that tonightβs Winger show in Sydney has been cancelled due to a fire emergency in the venue. With smoke and air quality posing serious risks, the Fire Department deemed the venue unsafe. No one, in good conscience, would go ahead with a show in the circumstances.
