SWEDISH rockers Eclipse, who graced Australia’s stages at GlamFest last year, have announced a new album.

Megalomanium, follow-up to 2021’s outstanding Wired, is to be released via Frontiers on September 1.

An opening single, “The Hardest Part Is Losing You”, dropped last week and a tour will kick off on the same day the album is released.

“If Wired was a collection of our favourite 11 beers at the time, Megalomanium is an album riddled with the full DNA of the band, singer Erik Martensson said.

“The title is, of course, intended to be a little tongue-in-cheek but in all fairness we entered the studio this time with a LOT of confidence in terms of what Eclipse is and could be.”
