DAVID Lee Roth is more prolific on YouTube than many of the self-made pundits posting there about him.
His latest “release” is a blues song called “Forgiveness”, posted on Christmas Eve. Diamond Dave just throws whatever he pleases on his channel, dancing to other people’s songs, performing his own ditties, placing stills and video over the top of Van Halen songs or original compositions.
There is no hint that “Forgiveness” references recent public debates involving him and Alex Van Halen – who’s been on the book circuit – or Sammy Hagar, who continues to toss barbs DLR’s way.
Instead, it’s a reworking of lyrics Roth previously crooned over the top of the Taylor Swift song on the same channel.
Meanwhile, no-one has yet removed the Van Halen 1983 Argentina footage that surfaced over a week ago. It’s lasted a lot longer than the celebrated Donnington footage did 18 months ago. See both videos below.
