THE best seller about hair metal, Nothin’ But A Good Time, has been turned into a three-part documentary.

Nöthin’ But A Good Time: The Uncensored Story Of ’80s Hair Metal will begin airing in the US on Paramount Plus on September 17.

Among the musicians interviewed are Poison’s Bret Michaels, Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy, Extreme’s Nuno Bettencourt, Skid Row’s Dave ‘Snake’ Sabo and MTV host Rikki Rachtman.

The series is directed by Jeff Tremaine who was behind the TV version of Motley Crue’s The Dirt book.

Allan Niven, the New Zealander who managed Guns N’Roses, Great White and The Angels, comments at one stage: “It was nothin’ but a good time? Not the fucking life I lived.”
