AS Gene Simmons was forced to cut solo tour dates, apparently due to poor ticket sales, we got the news we’ve been expecting for 18 months: KISS are back.
The 75-year-old bassist was selling a ‘roadie experience’ for US$12,495 but seemed to be struggling to attract fans for the American dates, with 17 shows postponed for non-health related regions. Tickets are being refunded.
However the KISS news cycle did not stay negative for long – unless you went to their ‘final’ show on December 2, 2023, at Madison Square Garden and actually thought it would be their final show.
Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer will be joined by former guitarist Bruce Kulick at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas on November 14-16 in a 50th anniversary celebration the KISS Army fan club.
The band’s statement read: “In celebration of the KISS Army’s 50th Anniversary and the 30th anniversary of the first KISS fan convention, KISS Army Storms Vegas will take place at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas from November 14-16, 2025!
“This exclusive, ‘everything KISS’ paradise marks the first time KISS has performed together since retiring from touring in December 2023. A full schedule of activities will be announced soon.
“Three-night stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, unmasked photo with KISS, access to the KISS Unmasked live show … KISS Army VIP members will have exclusive VIP pre-sale access starting March 27 at 7AM PT.”
